Come join us for a special presentation and cocktail reception in support of ASTEP (Artists Striving to End Poverty) Thursday, May 2nd. ASTEP is a non-profit organization created by Music Director Mary-Mitchell Campbell and Juilliard students to improve and enrich the lives of children underprivileged children through Art. ASTEP connects performing and visual artists with youth from underserved communities throughout the world to foster Arts education and talent to help to end poverty.

A discussion on modern trends in Genealogy and the burgeoning business of DNA testing. In the past five years ancestry DNA testing has become the popular fashion but there is a lot that is still unknown about this science and a great deal of misinformation. We will explore the truths behind the science and how traditional historical research can paint a very different picture when coupled with DNA testing.

Pieter Estersohn is a New York based photographer and writer specilizing in Architectural, Travel and Portrait photography. Estersohn is a regular contributor to Architectural Digest and has previously published "Kentucky: Historic House and Horse Farms of Bluegrass Country".
